“General Lee:” Introduction to the 1970 Dodge Challenger

Anyone who’s watched the iconic 70s television The Dukes of Hazard will be familiar with the equally iconic “General Lee,” the titular characters’ 1969 Dodge Charger. Painted up in deep orange while bearing the “01” on each door and topped with a painted Confederate battle flag on the roof, the General Lee became the star of each show as the Duke cousins made jump after jump each episode.
